Staff
Brett is our senior pastor. He and his family moved to Portland in 1996 to start Athey Creek Christian Fellowship. Brett and his wife Debbie have three children – Brooke, Joe and Casey.
Jim is our high school pastor. He and his wife, Sarah, make a great team as they minister together to our high school students.
Micah does a little bit of everything! He is a huge help to the staff in meeting the needs of the various ministries at our church. He burns up most of his excess energy on our high school youth group.
Amy is an administrative assistant for the pastoral staff. She helps out with planning fellowship events. The rest of her time is focused on spending time with the high school group.
David spends much of his time leading the college group. He also serves as one of our worship leaders at church. Throughout the rest of the week, he helps take care of our IT and media ministry needs. David is married to Becca.
Jeff is our administrative pastor. His main focus is overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church. He makes sure the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Jeff and his wife, Kaylyn, have two daughters - Kiya and Elie.
Kari is an administrative assistant. She helps with the routine workings of the office, which include covering the phones, greeting guests, distributing information and assisting with the many ministry needs as they arise.
Tim is our audio, visual and lighting guru. He takes care of the ins and outs of the sound and lighting systems during our times of worship and teaching. Tim is married to Jamie.
James is our children's pastor. In addition to running the children's ministry he also oversees the home groups. He and his wife Angela have three boys – Silas, J.T. and Isaiah.
Judy leads our women’s ministry. She oversees the ladies' Bible studies and meets with the women of Athey for prayer and fellowship.
Seth is our jr. high pastor. He teaches their mid-week Bible study and leads all of their fun, crazy events. He also seems to find enough energy to produce our Day-by-Day radio program and prepare teachings for the website & media ministry. Seth is married to Natalie.
Josh works with our children’s ministries. He helps James teach the grade school class and works on administrative details throughout the week.
Shannon is our bookkeeper. She assists Jeff Young with financial administrative duties. She also spends time hanging out with our jr. high kids. Shannon is married to Jon.
Jeff is an associate pastor who handles the business dealings of our fellowship. Presently, his focus is working with the various agencies, contractors and lenders to coordinate the pace and flow of the building project. Jeff and his wife, Sherry, have a daughter named Caedy.
